Why the Mojo School of Music? The Mojo School of Music had it’s inception back in the mid 1970’s, when Doug Suther moved Mojo Music Discount to it’s downtown Bellingham location on Grand Avenue. 35 years and several moves later, MSM is now Bellingham’s premier Community Music School. Nearly 200 students make the Mojo School of Music their choice for music education each week.
The extensive growth of MSM over the past decade necessitated expansion, and in early 2010, Doug secured the former Brown’s Beauty Supply building. Located just down the street from Mojo Music Discount, the Mojo School of Music is home to extensive print music and music software departments, and a full service repair shop. Instrument rentals also occur here (or online at www.mojomusicdiscount.com). It is the central warehouse for Mojo International Inc., and houses our corporate offices as well.
Although lessons are taught at both locations, 2815 is now home to the MSM offices. Customer service inquiries, accounting, and program planning & development are all based here.
